Crafting our path to becoming top garden care experts in Surrey and South West London.
Established in 1967 by Bart Patrick Snr as a small team managing private gardens, Garden Care has significantly expanded within 16 years. By 1983, it had evolved into a sizable gardening enterprise with multiple locations, including premises in Brighton Road Surbiton, the Old Manor Yard in Manor Road South Hinchley Wood, a yard in Lime Grove New Malden, a workshop in the Electric Parade Surbiton, and a print works in Southsea Road Kingston.
Bart Snr made the strategic decision to centralize operations and move to a new location. Following thorough research, the company successfully acquired the present location on Old Kingston Road, Worcester Park, and completed the relocation in 1984.
The primary nursery location used to be a municipal nursery that was in a state of disrepair. However, this move allowed for all operations, with the exception of the printing facility, to be housed in one place after 17 years. To complete the integration process, the printing facility and hardware store were divested shortly after the relocation to the present site.
Garden Care evolved into Garden Care Supplies Limited in 1987. Later, in 2008, Court Farm Garden Centre emerged as its trading division. The company marked its 50th anniversary in 2017. In 2020, the Court Farm Garden Centre operations were acquired by the Café tenant already in place.
